Figure and Ground: The Best Complimentary Elements in a Picture

I called this Figure and Ground because our perception may have the tendency to see parts of a visual against a less distinct background. In life, many people always focus on the figure but neglected the the background, not knowing that the ground actually plays a vital role to make sure the figure is noticeable.

Through our journey of life, we may have forgotten our role as figure or ground, and how we see others. It is important to re-focus our lenses and change our perception on figure and ground; both are critical to make up a good picture. It doesn't matter if we are just playing a supporting role (ground), the others (figure) need us; and vice versa.
