Day + Night

What if our day and night are overlapping? I find that the day is getting longer and the weather is getting very hot recently. News reporting many hotspots and water reserve level is critically low in some area. Meanwhile, some other parts of the world are having cold weather, blizzard, and even heavy rain causing floods. What is wrong with our world? I seriously think these are the impact of global warming; perhaps is a sign of something that we cannot imagine to begin...maybe.
